Beck show at santa barbara bowl next week [19 May 2012|04:05am] magnaveaux I apologize if this isn't allowed. I realize this community has been largely inactive for a long time, and I don't mean to spam, and also I realize this is short notice. However I have one spare ticket for the Beck show at the Santa Barbara Bowl (California) next Thursday. On the off chance that someone might be interested in it, please message me. Beck tattoo [24 Mar 2010|10:11pm] beckyaya A few years ago I posed this question to the community: http://community.livejournal.com/beck_fans/94197.html Prior to that post, I had been thinking about a possible Beck tattoo for a couple years. When Guero came out, I really loved all the album art. In particular, this bat- I've wanted this without question ever since, but just never got up the guts to do it (it's my first tattoo). A couple days ago, I finally went for it! I'm so glad I did. I've been a huge, huge fan for nearly 15 years now, and it really means something to me. The record has also received a release date of July 8 in the US and July 7 in the UK. Entitled 'Modern Guilt', the highly-anticipated LP was produced with Brian 'Danger Mouse' Burton and contains ten songs. As previously reported, the album, which is the follow up to 2006’s 'The Information', is relatively short, clocking in at just over 30 minutes. A taster from the album, 'Chemtrails', aired last month on BBC Radio 1 and was made available to stream on Beck’s MySpace page.
